Ready to submit an abstract for an oral presentation around the topic of global weather changes and the impact on Western Canada's environmental industry? Please submit the full abstract as a Word document by November 30, 2023. Be sure to include:
Title (10 words max)
Abstract description (300-450 words max)
- • Use acronyms sparingly; define abbreviations at first use in the abstract
- • Confirm co-authors' familiarity with the abstract content before submitting
- • Any identified errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific accuracy will be presented as authored

Point of Contact
- • The person submitting the abstract will be our main point of contact at ºÃÉ«TV
- • For proposals with multiple speakers, we'll reach out to the submitter for any questions or extra details needed
- • The submitter will then coordinate acceptance and information submission with all speakers and ºÃÉ«TV

Presenting at the event
For speakers
- • Use a limited number of slides and stick to assigned presentation slots
- • MAC users, ensure compatibility with ºÃÉ«TV's Windows/PC system
- • Avoid personal laptops except when unavoidable
- • Questions, thanks, and speaker acknowledgments are slated for post-presentation, so kindly stay until the presentation’s conclusion

- • Keep slides concise and readable from a distance; avoid excessive text
